Terms of Service
Effective July 29, 2026 · RenderQue is operated by Studio52
(studio52.fm), India · Contact: business@studio52.fm
The service
RenderQue creates lightweight proxy versions of video files you point it
at — files in your own Google Drive or Dropbox, or public share links you
paste — and delivers the proxies to your connected storage. By creating an
account you agree to these terms.
Your content, your responsibility
- You keep all rights to your files. We claim none.
- You confirm you have the right to process the footage you submit —
your own, or handed to you by a client for post-production work.
- Don't use RenderQue to process content that is illegal, infringes
others' rights, or that you have no authorization to handle. We may
suspend accounts that do.
Plans, quotas, and billing
- Plans are billed monthly through our payment processor. Quotas are
measured in gigabytes of source footage ingested per billing period,
with per-file size limits per plan.
- Upgrades take effect when you pay the prorated difference.
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation stops renewal; you keep your plan until the period
ends.
- Prices may change; existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice
before a change affects them.
Refunds
- 14-day guarantee: if you're on your first paid subscription and
the service hasn't worked for you, email us within 14 days of the first
charge and we'll refund it in full — no questions, no hoops.
- Our failures are on us: if a transcode fails for reasons on our
side, it doesn't count against your quota. If a service problem on our
side materially affected a billing period, contact us and we'll refund
or credit that period.
- Renewals and partial months: cancelling stops the next renewal
and you keep your plan until the period ends; we don't pro-rate refunds
for the unused part of a billing period. Renewal charges within 7 days
of an unused renewal are refundable on request.
- To request a refund, email
business@studio52.fm from your
account email. Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally
within 5–10 business days.
Fair use & service limits
- Quotas, per-file caps, queue priority, and rate limits apply per
plan. One account per person or team workflow — creating multiple
accounts to dodge quotas may lead to suspension.
- The service depends on third parties (Google, Dropbox, Microsoft,
Stripe, our hosting providers). Their outages or rate limits can delay
jobs; we surface those states in the dashboard rather than hide
them.
What we promise — and don't
We work hard to keep RenderQue fast and correct, and we fix issues
quickly. Still, the service is provided "as is": we don't
warrant uninterrupted availability or that every source file will
transcode successfully. Keep your originals — proxies are derived
files, and your source footage never leaves your own storage.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any
claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the
three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or
consequential damages, including lost profits or lost footage — though
note the service is designed so that your originals are never modified,
moved, or deleted.
Account termination
- You can delete your account at any time (profile menu → Delete
account); this cancels any subscription immediately, revokes our
storage access, and erases your data as described in the
Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms,
abuse the infrastructure, or fail payment after the grace period.
Where reasonable, we warn first.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to
the courts of India, though we'd much rather you email
business@studio52.fm first —
most things are fixable in a day.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this
page and by email to account holders at least 14 days before taking
effect. Continued use after that means acceptance.
