Privacy Policy
Effective July 29, 2026 · RenderQue is operated by Studio52
(studio52.fm), India · Contact: business@studio52.fm
The short version
- Your video files are never stored. They stream to a transcode
server, are converted, and are deleted immediately after each job.
- We can only reach files you point us at — picked files or
pasted share links. We cannot browse your cloud drives.
- We keep the minimum records needed to run the service: your account,
job history, and how many gigabytes you processed.
- You can delete your account — and everything with it — yourself,
in one click, any time.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a password hash (or your
Google sign-in identity), managed by our auth provider, Supabase.
- Storage connections: OAuth tokens for Google Drive and/or
Dropbox, stored encrypted at rest. Google access uses the
drive.file scope — the narrowest available: only files you
explicitly pick or that RenderQue creates.
- Job records: filenames, sizes, job status, and error messages
for the files you process — shown to you in the dashboard.
- Usage metering: bytes processed per job and transcode time,
used for plan quotas and billing.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card
number. We keep your Stripe customer id, plan, and subscription
status.
What we deliberately do NOT do
- No storage of your media or your clients' media beyond the minutes a
job takes to process.
- No browsing, indexing, or scanning of your cloud drives.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with advertisers or
data brokers. No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies — the only
cookies/local storage we use keep you signed in.
- No training of AI models on your content.
Google API Services — Limited Use
RenderQue's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs
adheres to the
Google
API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use
requirements. Google user data (your Drive files) is used solely to
provide the proxy-transcoding features you request, is never transferred
to third parties except as necessary to provide those features, is never
used for advertising, and is never read by humans except with your
explicit permission for support, for security, or to comply with law.
Dropbox
Dropbox access is used the same way: reading the files and shared links
you choose, and writing finished proxies back. Disconnecting Dropbox in
the dashboard revokes our access with Dropbox directly.
Where processing happens
Transcoding runs on servers operated by Hetzner (EU). Account data and
job records live in Supabase (EU region). Payments are processed by
Stripe.
Retention & deletion
- Media: deleted from our servers when each job finishes,
succeeds or fails.
- Account, jobs, settings, tokens: kept while your account
exists; erased when you delete your account (profile menu → Delete
account). Deleting also revokes our Google/Dropbox access at the
provider and cancels any subscription immediately.
- Aggregate usage records (bytes processed, no file details tied
to an identity) are retained as financial records.
Your rights
You can access your data (it's all visible in the dashboard), correct
it, export job history on request, or erase it via account deletion. For
anything else — including GDPR/DPDP requests — email
business@studio52.fm; we respond
within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it on this page and — for
significant changes — email account holders before it takes effect.
